How to make dye at home: cover the roots

If your concern is the roots that are now so visible that they have created a two-tone effect, choose products specifically for the roots.

Instead of a traditional hair dye, the root touch-up kit.

They are formulated to perfectly complement your hair color and some use semi-permanent colors that will cover your regrowth for around 2 – 3 weeks.

Others, however, only have a temporary effect.

Tip: When covering the roots with the hair dye, remember not to drag the dye beyond the regrowth. It may not seem like a big mistake but color overlay could lead to darker areas.
